Our Lippa4Life takes care of controlling the fish, and the Rancher pliers solve the problem of controlling the hook. We always advocate clamping down on the shank of the hook and pushing the bend towards the sky. Gravity and a de-barbed hook do the rest; the fish falls off the hook.
