Our Lippa4Life takes care of controlling the fish, and the many Bob's Tactical Scissors, curved or straight, solve the problem of controlling the hook - because of the properly portioned finger loops, balance, and length. We always advocate clamping down on the shank of the hook and pushing the bend towards the sky. Gravity and a de-barbed hook do the rest and the fish falls off the hook. Hooks with barbs require little more muscle power, but the concept is the same.
